Service Description

A postnatal infant feeding support session offers personalised, non‑judgemental support to help you feed your baby in a way that works for you. The session begins with a gentle feeding assessment and discussion about your feeding experience and goals. Practical support, guidance are then provided to meet your individual needs. Support is available for a wide range of infant feeding concerns, including: Difficulty with positioning and attachment Nipple pain or trauma Mastitis and blocked ducts Low or oversupply of milk Slow weight gain or feeding concerns Jaundice or a sleepy baby Breast refusal or nursing strikes Hand expressing breast milk Using breast pumps Feeding premature babies Breastfeeding multiples or tandem nursing Re-lactation Introducing solids and weaning from the breast Returning to work Bottle feeding and combination feeding Sessions are tailored to you and your baby, with the aim of building confidence, addressing challenges early, and supporting your feeding goals.
