Antenatal Visit

A session to help you prepare before your baby arrives

1 h 30 min
150 British pounds

Service Description

An antenatal infant feeding visit provides supportive, evidence‑based information to help you prepare for feeding your baby. The session includes a discussion about your hopes, concerns and feeding goals, alongside information on how breastfeeding works and how to get feeding off to a good start after birth. Common challenges are discussed, with a focus on recognising normal baby feeding behaviour and knowing when and how to seek support. The visit also offers practical guidance on holding and positioning your baby, supporting comfortable attachment, and building confidence before your baby arrives. The aim is to help you feel informed, prepared and reassured as you approach the early days of feeding.
